CP Media has appointed Richard Sowerby to the new role of Group FD as part of its future growth strategy. CP Media bought Eye Airports, the regional airport advertising company in 2019 and is looking to grow significantly over the next three years.

CEO Mike Brennan, said “CP Media has grown considerably over the last few years and we are currently one of the fastest growing companies in our industry. However, as it gets more complicated, we will need a professional of Richard’s calibre to take us to the next level. Richard has had hands on experience both in accountancy and in senior management at a number of high growth companies and will bring enthusiasm, ideas and energy to the business as we seek to grow our market even further.”

Richard Sowerby trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG, and among other roles sat on the board of Altitude Group plc and recently led and successfully exited an MBO of The Inspired Branding Group.  He commented that “the opportunity to work with CP Media, a dynamic and fast-growing business, is very exciting and I am looking forward to working with Mike and the team to achieve further success over the coming years.”
